As the snow accumulates every year around the station, each summer the Vehicle Operators level the windtails and groom the area. The main vehicle used for this task is the Pisten Bully. These are similar to the machines used in ski resorts and can quickly and efficiently shift large amounts of snow. The Pisten Bully's blade can perform sixteen basic manouvers like tilt forward/back, left/right, up/down and clockwise/counterclockwise, as well as independently move the left and right blade tips.
