Phone call with International Space Station

This evening was really special for all of us here at Halley. We've had a phone call with British Astronaut Tim Peake who is currently orbiting the Earth onboard the International Space Station. In the picture you can see Ricardo, Ross, Greig, Jessica and Richard. In the room there also were Victoria, Dave, Phil, Matt and mysef. In addition, we have been broadcasting the phone call over the HF radio to a field party (Sledge Alpha with Amy, Mat and Stu) who are currently about 50km from Halley on their winter trip.

Tim, it was an absolute privilege to talk to you. Thank you for that, you've definitely made my day!
