First winterers went home

Another aircraft came in today to Halley, bringing onboard a few new faces - some are old friends from previous summer, some are new to us. Also, two of our wintering team mates have started their journey home as well - another sign that the winter is truly over.

In the image the POLAR 6 Basler is taking off at Halley en route back to Rothera.
