Blowing Snow

Over the last couple of days we were hit by strong winds with gusts up to 55 knots. If the wind is strong enough, it starts lifting and carrying snow with it. This phenomena is called drifting snow (wind speed around 15-20 knots) or blowing snow (over 20 knots).
