Today's picture of the day will be a bit of an exception in that it's a picture I took on yesterday's trip to the penguins, as I think you can never have too many pictures of penguins!

In the image the Emperor Penguins colony can be seen occupying a large portion of sea ice, with the cliff of the Brunt Ice Shelf visible in the background.
