This morning we were greeted by a beautiful orange glow of the rising sun, backlighting streams of drifting snow carried by the easterly breeze.

Over the course of the day the weather deteriotated - the sky was mostly overcast and the contrast dropped to not a lot. The outside temperature was in the region of -30°C with 20kt wind, bringing the windchill down to about -47°C.
