Twilight over SnoCats

213/366

Another beautiful, clear, bright, calm and cold day - the outside temperature hovered between -35°C and -40°C all day today. This is the best time of the year for Halley, as the colours in the sky are simply amazing. During the day we get beautiful twilights, while the nights are still very dark and full of stars. August is also statistically the coldest month at Halley and we're all looking forward to the lowest temperatures of the season.

In the picture are two SnoCat tracked vehicles, buried in snow, with the twilight over the North horizon.
