We've had a beautiful if cold weather for the whole day today. The sky was almost completely clear, and the sun was shining, although it didn't give off any noticeable heat. The outside temperature, at the time this image was taken, dropped to -36.7°C and there was about 15 knots of wind, giving a wind chill of -53°C.
In the picture the silhouette of the Halley Modules can be seen against the backdrop of the brilliantly lit sky just after the sunset.
