More Diamond Dust

195/366

Today was the coldest day so far this season, with the outside temperature having dropped to -48.4°C and the wind chill exceeding -64°C. The glow of daylight is slowly creeping back and it is now possible to go outside for a couple of hours around the solar noon and see features without having to use a torch.

In the picture, hundreds of tiny ice crystals, which make up the Diamond Dust and create various optical phenomena including halos and light pillars, are captured mid-flight underneath the exterior light of one of the modules.

Tamarcia - I've captured thousands of diamonds for you!
