Milky Way on a Bright Cold Night

146/366

The cold spell continues, with another calm, clear and crisp night. The Moon is Waning Gibbous and still very bright, providing plenty of light, although it is possible to see a bit more stars and clearly make out the Milky Way over the Halley Modules. In the foreground, a shovel and a flag with a Nansen sledge can be seen almost completely buried in the snow and all covered with a thick layer of beautiful rime frost.
