Halley VI

158/366

Halley VI station at local apparent noon (also known as solar noon, which is when the Sun is at it's highest point; today it was almost 9° below the horizon) . This is a 6 seconds exposure at f/8.0 ISO800 - there really is very little light left.

The cold, crisp and clear weather continues with the temperature hovering around -40°C, windchill just shy of -50°C, and wind in a region of 5-10kt.
