Commute to the new site

The site where Halley VI station is going to be relocated to (commonly referred to simply as the new site) is 23 km due east of the current location of the station. To assist with the move of heavy modules and other structures, a "road" has been built, by grooming about 20m wide strip on the surface of the ice shelf, with flags on each side. This makes the commute really comfortable!
