Halley may be getting more and more daylight, but the nights are still dark and on clear days full of stars.
In the picture is the Halley Station with Milky Way overhead. To the left two auroral arches can be seen. In addition, there was a fair amount of diamond dust in the air, creating strong light pillars - these can be seen extending vertically up and down from exterior lights of the modules and the Balloon launching platform.
